THE SWALLOW AND THE CROW

 
THE Swallow and the Crow were once con-
tending about  their plumage.    The  Crow
finally  put  an  end  to the dispute by saying,
"Your feathers are well  enough  now while it
is  warm,  but  mine protect  me  against  the
winter."
